Most people (the majority even), possibly even yourself included, think that technology is the ultimate obstacle and what’s holding your business back. But what I’ve found is that this is simply NOT the case.
The fact is:
Technology: The practical application of knowledge especially in a particular area.
Technology is basically a collection of modules and tools. And they simply plugin to whatever you’re currently pursuing.
One of the things I find the most when working with business owners in my coaching program, is that technology is not the root of the problem, but rather their business model, plan, systems, value advantage, primary offering, or customer development is the REAL culprit!
Once you understand your true offering as a business and stick to your guns, technology falls right into place. Which is why at this point I basically only work with businesses who understand their business deeply, because otherwise they are simply NOT ready to start working with technology leverage solutions.
But if you don’t have the foundation yet for your business, it will make it almost impossible for technology solutions to be implemented. Similar to calling a pizza business and ordering pizza without knowing what type, toppings, and size you want. Once you have that information, it becomes simple to connect desire to solutions once you know what you want.
Understand your business, and technology will fall into place.
